Gzim Durakovic

Gzim (pronounced “Zim”) Durakovic is the Director of Maintenance at DMG.  Gzim is focused on strengthening maintenance operations, overseeing preventative maintenance, improving curb appeal and property presentation, implementing proactive maintenance strategies, overseeing capital projects and vendor relationships, ensuring building code compliance and safety standards, driving maintenance accountability from DMG’s maintenance staff through clear performance metrics, and assisting with property budgeting.

Gzim brings over a decade of experience in construction and facilities management across multifamily and mixed-use portfolios. Most recently, he served as a Regional Construction and Facilities Manager at Redwood Construction, overseeing more than 20 properties and over $200 million in capital projects, with direct responsibility for budgets, due diligence, vendor coordination, inspections, and project execution . Prior to that, he held senior maintenance leadership roles with Berkshire Management and Greystar, managing large, high-density communities and complex building systems.  He also has hands-on trade experience in plumbing and building code compliance
