Introducing Square 37: A Fresh Chapter for a North Side Classic

Thirteen years ago, Daniel Management Group was created and the apartment building on Kimball and Elston was the first property owned and managed in the DMG portfolio. That portfolio has grown to four states across the Midwest and more than 5,000 units. This building has always played a critical role in the DMG story and DMG was thrilled to execute a significant renovation and rebrand. The newly branded, Square 37 Apartments continues to be a neighborhood jewel in Irving Park, but now with a new identity and fresh new look with modern finishes.

New Identity

Square 37 Apartments is a traditional Chicago courtyard building with warmth that can’t be replicated by new construction. The architecture provides a sense of history and community.

The building is at the ideal location — embodying the quieter residential pace of Irving Park while being conveniently located near Logan Square and Avondale. Residents can take advantage of the restaurant corridor in Logan Square, the nearby Horner Park and Chicago River trail while being close to both public transportation (CTA Blue Line) and I-90/94. Additionally, the new name is based on the building being situated at the crossroads of the 3700 block of Kimball and the 3700 block of Elston Roads.

New Look

The renovation touched the spaces residents live in every day. Updated one- and two-bedroom homes now feature:

  • Reimagined kitchens with stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops
  • Refreshed bathrooms with modern finishes

These renovations are on top of the already sought after unit amenities such as hardwood flooring throughout, in-unit washer/ dryer and central heating/ AC that residents love.

Renovated units are available now, with additional units coming online as upgrades continue to roll out across the building — so there’s a fresh option for renters at every stage of their search.

The newly rebranded and renovated Square 37 is a destination for residents. The building continues to be pet friendly and is an ideal home for renters seeking updated interiors in a class Chicago courtyard building.
